Current specials, closeouts, used bikes, and former rental-fleet bikes described on this page are separate from the rebate program unless official program rules say otherwise.

Start Here: You May Not Need to Wait
If you are researching the New Orleans e-bike rebate, there is a good chance you are trying to make an e-bike affordable. The rebate may eventually help selected applicants, but it is not active yet.
In the meantime, eBike NOLA may have other ways to help local riders save, including competitive pricing on new e-bikes, brand-supported specials, closeout opportunities, and used or former rental-fleet e-bikes when available.
Why Buy Local Instead of Buying a Box Online?
On many of the brands we carry, our in-store pricing is generally aligned with the brand's direct-to-consumer website pricing. The difference is what happens before and after you ride away.
When you buy from eBike NOLA, your bike can be professionally assembled, safety checked, initially tuned, road tested, and supported by a local shop. A tuning adjustment within the first 90 days is included with our assembly service.
We focus our service support on bikes we sell because we know their setup, components, and history. If you need a long-term local service partner, the best path is to buy the bike from us rather than buying direct online.
Affordable E-Bike Options We May Have
New E-Bike Specials
Brand-supported deals and limited-time promotions may make select new e-bikes more affordable than usual.
Closeout E-Bikes
Closeout opportunities may be available when we need to make room for newer inventory or when a brand promotion creates a strong value.
Rayvolt Inventory
Rayvolt models may be available as limited inventory opportunities when in stock. These bikes are offered only while available.
Used and Former Rental-Fleet E-Bikes
Used or former rental-fleet e-bikes may sometimes be available at or below $700, depending on model, condition, and availability.
A Note About Used E-Bikes
We do not buy bikes off the street. That matters.
Some shops and online marketplaces cannot always know the full history of a used bike. We do not want anything to do with stolen bikes, questionable ownership, unsafe batteries, or mystery electronics.
When we offer used or former rental-fleet e-bikes, they are bikes with a known history. Availability changes often, and condition varies by bike.

More Ways to Make E-Bike Ownership Affordable
There is no single right way to make e-bike ownership more affordable. Depending on your needs and the opportunities available at the time, one or more of the following options may help:
- Manufacturer promotions on select new e-bikes.
- Deeply discounted former rental-fleet e-bikes, when available.
- Interest-free e-bike layaway on qualifying purchases for customers who want us to reserve a specific bicycle while they complete payment under written layaway terms.
- Advance Purchase Credit for customers who prefer to make non-refundable payments toward a future eligible purchase without reserving a specific bicycle.
- Month-to-month leasing, when available, for riders who want to experience life with an e-bike before deciding whether ownership is right for them.
- Financing for qualified buyers through participating lending partners.
- The future New Orleans Instant E-Bike Rebate Program, when available.

How This Relates to the New Orleans E-Bike Rebate
RideTHISbike publishes a separate New Orleans E-Bike Rebate Resource Center for residents who want plain-English information about the City program.
The rebate may be worth waiting for if you are selected and can follow the official voucher rules. But current deals are different from rebate purchases, and prior purchases are not expected to become rebate purchases later.
